On the occasion of his performance »Cars Kill - A Meditation on Inner City Traffic and Interhuman Relations«, at the Kunsthalle Wien, May 2013, Swedish artist Karl Holmqvist speaks to artist Martin Guttmann about his »almost poetry«: the transformation of the written into the spoken word, poetry's power to brainwash us, remediation, collaborations with New York noise artists, and how important it is that the audience not be too entertained so that they stay focussed.
